Wally Goddard is one of the country’s leading family life educators. He was a Professor of Family Life at University of Arkansas and Auburn University, where he developed programs on personal well-being, marriage, and parenting, including The Marriage Garden and The Parenting Journey. Wally created a television series on parenting for public television and has authored or co-authored many books including Discoveries: Essential Truths for Relationships, Between Parent and Child, The Soft-Spoken Parent, and Drawing Heaven into Your Marriage. He was recognized with the Career Achievement Award by the National Association of Family Life Specialists and was granted fellow status by the National Council on Family Relations. He served on the LDS Curriculum Committee to create Come, Follow Me. Wally and his wife, Nancy, have three adult children, fourteen grandchildren, and have cared for many foster children.
