David Holladay

David B. Holladay was born in the southwest, to parents born in the southwest, to parents born in the southwest. He loves the plants, animals and rocks of the natural world. He was trapped in a caribou migration for eight hours when he was four years old and still remembers it vividly at age 65. He grew up on farm and ranch land outside of Tucson AZ. He had grown up traveling and working extensively in Mexico, Guatemala and el Salvador, working mostly with native American friends and cultures. He says his favorite place is "Out of town". David has worked many jobs from farming, mining, factory and construction work, to music, art and education. He has been an outdoor educator for willing and non-willing participants since 1975. He was senior instructor at Boulder Outdoor Survival School For eighteen years. David loves God and people and the earth!
