Speaker: Marsha LaFroth

Marsha LaFroth trepidatiously decided to give homeschooling a one-year trial, but she worried she wouldn’t be able to make it through one year! She was surprised to discover how enjoyable it was. She has now been homeschooling for six years and feels it is such a blessing for her family. She compares homeschooling to mothering: full of challenges and “rough days,” but ultimately a joy and privilege to be part of. She treasures the time she has to read with her children, go on adventures, and build relationships. She and her husband have lived in northern Virginia for twelve years and have four children ages thirteen, eleven, six, and two.
