Speaker: Heather Merrill

Heather Merrill is a wife and a mother of four children who has been homeschooling since 2008. She has a B.S. degree in Psychology and a Master of Organizational Behavior degree, both from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. She currently lives in Westminster, CO and is a Course Developer and Learning Coach for American Heritage School Online, a faith-based worldwide school which is based in American Fork, Utah. Heather’s two oldest sons each graduated from homeschool and earned Associate of Arts degrees from the local community college by the age of eighteen.

Her oldest son served a mission in Alaska and is now a student at BYU in Provo. Her second oldest son is currently serving a mission in Panama. Her two youngest children are continuing their home education, with goals to follow in their older brothers’ footsteps. Heather’s interests include history, reading, exercise and nutrition, cooking, home improvement, and taking trips with her family.
