We will review times in scriptural history when Jehovah spoke with prophets in the tops of mountains. We will try to understand why Jesus needed to ascend into a high mountain to commune with God, even though there was a Temple on Earth. Incident to these, we will compare Moses in the mountain (receiving the Law at Sinai) with Jesus in the mountain (giving the higher law, at the “Sermon on the Mount”).
