We sometimes hear about anticipating (or planning for) the future based on the past. In some realms this works well—especially in the past. As technology and social thought continue to accelerate in their evolution, the rate of change makes it difficult to have estimations of the past that hold relevance for the future. This class will discuss the progression of consciousness and the ability to comprehend increasingly complex problems. We will also discuss Theory U and the science of listening in such a way that we become aware of the emerging future.
