President Hinckley stated, “Most of us tend to be inherently lazy. [But] nothing of real substance comes without work.” So how do we get our children to put forth the effort to educate themselves without turning into “Sergeant Mom”? All learning is self-learning, and desire is the best motivator. But there are things we can do to help awaken the desire to learn, and put our children on the path to attaining a quality education.
