Loving the Things the Lord Loves, Even When They Are Our Own Troubled Children

Rough spots happen. So, sometimes, do blame, fear, anger, frustration, hurt, and anxiety. But, do they have to go together? This presentation is a simple reminder of the helps we do have when even our best efforts and most dearly held beliefs and hopes are being challenged by the very people we have welcomed into the world. We’ll cover the parenting manual we do have from the Best Parent Ever, a (maybe) new ways to think about suffering and our children’s choices, sweet comfort from the lives of real people who were troubled children, and the “camaraderie of parents who are trying.”
