Our sons started their first business at the ages of eight and six. Since then we have ventured into all kinds of different undertakings, some successful and some not so successful. Along the way we have learned a lot about working effectively and realistically. We’ve learned about markets and economies, and capitalizing on strengths and overcoming our weaknesses. We have learned to navigate the strange world of permits, taxes, and licenses. We’ll walk you through the basics of starting your own business and hopefully inspire you to go out and do it yourself!
