A number of years ago, a great Baptist minister and a personal acquaintance of Glenn Kimber wrote a book entitled “Home Schooling: The Right Choice.” This book became the center piece for thousands of homeschool families throughout the United States. Dr. Kimber finds, however, that many will soon ask themselves, “Is homeschooling the right choice?” Parents often justify their reasons for home education on all the bad things they see happening in public school. In Glenn’s opinion, this is a great mistake. Parents should homeschool for one reason only: they are inspired to do it! Glenn believes that those who have not received specific inspiration to supervise the personal education of their children will have little confidence in what they are attempting to do, no knowledge of where to go for curriculum or resources, and are set-up for ultimate failure.
