We must think in terms of IDEALS because we are Women of Covenant – and we know we live in critical times and have a great work to do. We envision our success, and we are willing to be magnified by the Lord in all things. But every single day we cannot deny the dozens of ways that we see ourselves fall short of this ideal. It’s easy, at times, to believe that no matter how hard (or fast) we work, we just aren’t getting it “right.” To make matters worse, we see and hear of other families succeeding and we begin to wonder if we are capable of doing the same. This is the great challenge of any person’s mission in life, to continue forward even in times of great discouragement. Misty has struggled over the years with those feelings of failure and discouragement, but she has learned how to hold the course, and do so with a sense of hope and trust. Misty shares with you specific ways of dealing with the gap between the ideal homeschool and the reality of our lives.
