Blending the secular and religious history of the earth gives the student a more well-rounded knowledge and understanding of God’s hand in the people and events of history. Alone, Biblical studies limit one’s knowledge of ancient history; but, bringing in those people and events that were happening at the same time in other parts of the world completes the picture and makes it easier to understand both.
