At the Foot of the Giant

A liberal arts education expands our vision and empowers us to see farther than we can on our own. Isaac Newton stated that if he had seen farther than other men it was because he had stood on the shoulders of giants. By studying the great works of the past we climb to those shoulders and enlarge our perspectives. But have you ever felt like you lacked the tools and the strength to even start that climb? Have you ever felt intimidated as you stood at the foot and looked up to a shoulder that seems miles away from where you are? If so, how will you ever get yourself up there, much less inspire your children to tackle the task? This class will present the steps for team climbing, to impact your own and your children’s education. This is “You With Them:” the views are breathtaking, come along!
