Getting off to a "Good Start"

If you have ever taken on the challenge of constructing a grand edifice, from a model playhouse to a beautiful palace, you understand the reward and toil such a project takes. Along with imagination, materials, time, sweat, joy, and tears, it must be built on a firm foundation. In this class we will discuss some helpful fundamentals you can use in the grandest edifice of all: your home. Some of the topics we will be discussing: how to restore family culture, what is a one-year detox, and how to create a mission statement to support your vision. With the little time we have with our precious family, the foundation we lay needs to be everlasting and grounded. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” I am excited to share the things I have learned in my journey and the success I have had just applying these few basics. Whether your adventure in homeschooling has just begun or you have been at it for a bit, this class will help you get off to a good start. Come and see what you can take away to bring light and direction to the vision you have for your family and home.
