This class is not about high school transcripts, SAT scores, or college applications. This class explores the importance of being “street smart” about the world in which we live, avoiding naivety while maintaining purity and positivity. We will explore conversations to have before your children leave home, including: difficult-family situations, sex education, wisdom in dating and choosing a spouse, kindness to others with different standards, how to set personal boundaries, and contradicting worldviews. These sensitive topics with real-life scenarios will be examined, and some tips for when and how to introduce these subjects will be proposed. The bubble of homeschool is beautiful; let’s pop it gently.
