Unwrapped Inspirations:
May 30 - June 1, 2018 
8:00 - 8:15 a.m.

Unwrapped: Door prizes aimed to help you on your homeschooling journey. Inspiration: A devotional message to begin your day.

All adults will gather as a group to begin each morning. Announcements will be given and a spiritual message will be shared. Arrive by 8 am for a chance to win one of the fabulous door prizes: subscriptions to the LDSHE Audio Library and other homeschool-related gifts. We'll start the day together, inviting the Spirit to be with each of us as we learn from the day's speakers and seek inspiration for our own families.

Doughnut Devotionals:

Spiritual food with sweet, tasty pastry? What could be better!

Rise and shine LDSHE youth! Start your conference day with a shot of scriptures and sugar.
Join us for open air devotionals each conference morning before the start of classes. Meet us in the early morning light in the quad for a discussion on the many applications of our conference theme. Delve with us into the scriptures and frosted pastry.

Talent Show and Open Mic:

Join us for a spectacular show! No matter the talent--music, drama, puppet shows, or stand up--each of us have a little spark to share. We're excited to see what you'll bring!

Watch or join fellow attendees in the wildest show you've ever seen. You know the saying: "Go big or go a little less big!" This show is welcoming to all shapes and sizes, talents and abilities (except pyrotechnics). The Open Mic after the show is available for that sudden rush of inspiration, so come ready to share. We've been graciously offered professional lighting, sound, a projector, a magnificent full-size grand piano, microphones, and more to magnify your talents!
Drag the whole family along, and they're all sure to have a grand spankin' time! We hope to see you perform, or even just come and support those who are!

Family Dance:
Dr Seuss Dance Party!

Our Seuss theme has something for ev'ry one!

Our Dr. Seuss-themed dance party is the perfect way to meet some new people and make friends.

  • Fun games, including a hula hoop contest!

Conference Schedule

 

LDSHE Graduation Celebration:
Friday, June 1, 2018
7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Graduating this year? Join our graduating class for a graduation you'll remember!

LDSHE Graduation will be held after the close of the conference on Friday evening at 7:00 pm and all are welcome. A reception with light refreshments will follow the program.
Cost for graduates is $30 payable on the registration page.

Mentor Moms Chat Room:

Decompress and process with other homeschooling moms at the end of the day.

With a busy day full of classes, sometimes it's hard to find the time to just socialize and connect with other moms. Our Mentor Mom Chat Room is the perfect way to wrap up your busy day in a more relaxed and social atmosphere. Join with other moms to chat about the day's classes, pick up tips, and just unwind with some casual conversation.

Those staying on campus at can meet-up on the quad between 9:45 and 10:00
The Tabernacle was completed in 1891 and is a striking example of an early Mormon pioneer public meetinghouse. A beautiful pipe organ was installed in 1908 and the building is used for Church conferences, community concerts, and other presentations. An extensive genealogy library is located in the basement of the building where volunteers can help research your ancestors. Tabernacle tours are available Mondays through Saturdays throughout the summer.
Free "Noon Music at the Tabernacle" concerts are performed Monday through Friday from Memorial Day through mid-August.

Varying prices per activity Those staying on campus at can meet-up on the quad between 10:45 and 11:00. Try your hand at this 16-lane extreme bowling center, skate on Logan's state-of-the-art roller rink, play arcade games and laser tag, or crawl through soft play mazes. Wear or bring socks!

$3 for children 2+, $4 for adults 12+ Those staying on campus at can meet-up on the quad between 12:45 and 1:00.
Zootah at Willow Park has dozens of different species to learn about and interact with, and has one of the greatest waterfowl collections in the region, showcasing more than 100 species. The setting offers walkways among shady willow trees and children can feed the ducks, geese, and trout. See lemurs, red fox, coyotes, elk, bald eagles, deer, bobcats, and more. Picnic and playground areas are adjacent to the zoo..
