Stephanie Stander has been a homeschooling/unschooling mom for over a decade. She and her husband Doug were married in the Salt Lake temple nearly two decades ago and they live with their five children in Pocatello, ID. The Standers didn’t start out planning to homeschool past kindergarten, but public schools ended up being a terrible fit for their family and they only lasted a month when they first tried it. Stephanie has degrees in Political Science and History and is an avid reader who loves to sing and plays three instruments that she rarely has time to practice. Stephanie is also the cochair of the Committee for Free and Fair Elections, a grassroots organization, and is active in promoting political advocacy for causes close to her heart.
