Kenneth and Patty Lee

Kenneth Lee is the 2nd Counselor in the Washington, D.C. Temple presidency. He was born in Springfield, Illinois and lived in several states as his father was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and transferred frequently. President Lee served a mission to the Uruguay-Paraguay mission, graduated from the University of Utah and then received his law degree from George Washington University.

Patty Lee is an Assistant to the Matron in the Washington, D.C. Temple. She was born in Brigham City, Utah and grew up on the east coast, attending elementary school in Richmond, Virginia and middle and high school in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sister Lee graduated from the University of Utah, where she and President Lee met and were married.

The Lees moved to Northern Virginia in 1973 for President Lee to attend law school, and they have lived in this area ever since. President Lee has worked in government relations and Sister Lee has taught high school English. They are longtime members of the Oakton, Virginia stake. President Lee has served as an Elder’s Quorum President, Bishop, High Councillor, Stake President’s Counselor and Patriarch. Sister Lee has been a ward and stake Primary President, ward Young Women counselor, seminary. teacher, Relief Society President and Primary teacher. Together they served as directors of the Bishop's Storehouse. President and Sister Lee are the parents of four children, two sons and two daughters, and eighteen grandchildren, ten girls and eight boys.

This class will focus on ways to make conference last longer than two days. It will include getting the most out of each talk by discovering invitations, principles and promises, as well as suggestions for incorporating conference talks into your daily gospel study. In order to more fully participate in class, we invite you to read “Nourishing and Bearing Your Testimony,” Elder Gary E. Stevenson’s conference talk from October 2022.
