Heather Hawkins was born in Idaho Falls. She has danced from the time she could walk. She has always loved dancing but especially loves to choreograph. She is the oldest of five kids. Growing up she would constantly be putting on productions in which she made her younger siblings dance. They didn't love it as much as she did! She danced on an early morning ballroom team when she was younger, then in high school and college. She danced on a traveling swing team and quickly realized swing is her favorite style! Once married she began teaching and choreographing dance and productions. She has taught and choreographed all styles of dance as well as choreographed for several theater productions. She has taught ballroom for over eighteen years! She loves teaching and coaching all ages. She has been married for nineteen years and is a busy mom to seven incredible kids, who are all homeschooled and love the homeschooling life.
