Cordell and Miriam Crawford

Cordell Hull Crawford joined the Church when he was nineteen. He married his high school sweetheart, Miriam, and they are the parents of eight children with 24 grandchildren. Brother Crawford is a retired biology and chemistry teacher, high school principal, and Director of Special School Projects. He has served as a bishop in the McMinnville and Altamont wards, a counselor in the Chattanooga and McMinnville stake presidencies, a counselor to three mission presidents, and as president of the McMinnville TN stake. He is now serving as President of the Nashville Tennessee Temple.

Miriam Elaine Hitchcock Crawford is a life-long member of the Church. She and her husband were sealed in the Provo temple in 1972. She is Nanna to 24 grandchildren. Sister Crawford graduated from Tennessee Technological University and has operated a tax preparation service for 40 years. Her church callings have included ward Relief Society and Young Women president, seminary teacher for seven years and stake seminary supervisor for ten. She has also been a Young Women's camp "first year cabin mom" for more than twenty years and is now serving as the Matron of the Nashville Tennessee Temple.
