Christy Corbett is a former high school English teacher and Ventura College Learning Disabilities tech. She is trained in two Lindamood Bell programs and has successfully helped over sixty students with dyslexia learn to read. She has worked with students of all ages (seven to seventy), including some with ADHD and autism. Mother of four and grandmother to twelve, she has experienced dyslexia in her own family and knows firsthand both the anguish of reading struggles and the joy of seeing students become successful readers. A member of book clubs for forty years, Christy loves hiking with her husband, Ray, playing the cello and watching Turner Classic Movies.
