Cara was introduced to Latter-day Saint Home Educators through friends in 2013 and quickly caught the vision of the LDSHE mission. Zoom Room 1

We all know that each family situation and child is unique and requires different opportunities for all family members (including momma) to thrive. So what does it look like when one-size-doesn't-fit-all? This panel discussion seeks to shed light on what homeschooling and public schooling at the same time looks like, and how it has been the right fit for their families.

Anchored in Christ (Cara Rector)

Adult Pavilion

In life we often feel the turbulence of the world we live in. The ups & downs create an adventure that can be both exhilarating and terrifying. While we bear the responsibility of steering our vessels through the storms and calms of life, we have a tool that can prevent us from "drawing". Let’s dive deeply into the "why's and how's" of being Anchored in Christ. There will be laughing, crying, and plenty of pirate lingo. We will even end our adventure together with a unique presentation of a beloved hymn turned seas shanty.
