Amy Palmer

Amy Palmer

Amy graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Civil Engineering. She also met and married her husband, Dustin, there. Civil engineering is fun, but Amy found much more joy in raising their four children and eventually deciding to pull everyone out of school to homeschool. After nine years of homeschooling, she and Dustin are now empty nesters and daily reflect on how grateful they are to have embarked on the homeschooling journey. They now enjoy frequent visits from their children and granddaughter, and Amy is excited to support her children should they decide to homeschool.

Raising Adults in an Adolescent World (Amy Palmer)

Halsey Room

When a college professor tells our kids, "Here is the syllabus for this class. This is what is expected. I only want to see you about exceptions if someone in your close family is in the hospital. You are in college now, figure it out," we want our children to breathe a sigh of relief and think, "This is the class for me!" We want them to be confident in facing the world and the challenges it will present. In this class, we will talk about ways to get our kids to this point.
