In life, one of the most underrated “superpowers” we often forget about is the skill of great listening. But really, what does it mean to be a “great listener?” And how will this skill help you become more likable, develop deeper friendships, and find more joy in your daily living? These questions and more will be answered by Marcus Sheridan, a convert of the Church at the age of 16 who has traveled the world teaching individuals and companies to become more effective teachers, communicators, and listeners. If you’re looking for a fast and furious session filled with takeways, good laughter, and practical tips– you won’t want to miss Marcus!
Called a “web marketing guru” by the New York Times, the story of how Marcus Sheridan was able to save his swimming pool company, River Pools, from the economic crash of 2008 has been featured in multiple books, publications, and stories around the world. Since this achievement, Sheridan has become a highly sought-after global speaker and consultant in the digital sales and marketing space, working with hundreds of businesses and brands to achieve their potential in a rapidly evolving marketplace, ultimately helping them to become the most trusted voice in their respective industries. On the spiritual side of things, Sheridan was baptized in to the LDS church as a senior in high school. He went on to serve a mission in Chile, write two books in the LDS genre, and serve as branch president in his little area of Kilmarnock, Virginia–all while sharing incredible joy and laughter with his wife and four children.
