Blake Jones grew up as the fifth of six kids in a homeschooling family (though he did attend public school for three weeks!). He has been attending LDSHE conferences since he was 12, and is a former YCT member. After graduating, Blake served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Guatemala, Guatemala City East Mission, where he loved the people and learned Spanish. He is currently attending BYU. He enjoys anything that has to do with music (dancing, singing, playing the piano, etc.), doing things as a family, playing games, reading, hiking, camping, being outdoors, and being part of LDSHE.
Standing up and sharing your beliefs can be a little hard sometimes, especially when the popular views of the time may not be exactly on your side. Whether we are talking with complete strangers as a full-time missionary, or just talking with a good friend, we must learn to trust the Lord, fear no man or woman, and stand up for our beliefs.
