Tiffany Blanch has a degree in elementary education with a minor in music from Brigham Young University and taught for five years in both public and charter schools in the greater Salt Lake City area. Following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother, who were also educators, Tiffany’s love for education has extended beyond the classroom as she teaches her own children in her home. No assignment has ever been as difficult, rewarding, or important as this one. She’s constantly researching new methods and theories to try to meet her children’s learning needs. She has a deep commitment to the Lord and is grateful for His guidance, as well as the support of her husband, in her exciting homeschooling journey. When she can find a spare moment, she loves reading, the outdoors, music, and long road trips with her family.
How does your child learn best? Do you find that what works well for one child doesn’t always work for another? Do you know why? Each child has a unique learning style, and being able to tailor your teaching to that learning style can be the key to success in your homeschooling. In this course we’ll explore different learning styles (auditory, visual, and kinesthetic), the theory of multiple intelligences, and and we’ll provide you with some resources you can use at home to discover your child’s learning style.
