Rise up and be warriors of light and knowledge! Learn to defend the constitution and its principles as we move forward in an uncertain time. Unless we return to our constitutional heritage, our precious American birthright of liberty will be lost. The future is in your hands!
As a professor at Southern Utah University, Timothy B. Lewis has taught business law courses there 1985. He graduated with honors from the J. Reuben Clark, Jr. School of Law at BYU in 1979. He has extensively studied the works of J. Reuben Clark, Jr., and has come to appreciate and admire President Clark’s eloquence and wisdom regarding constitutional law. President Clark’s warnings about the movement of the country away from our basic constitutional principles are even more troubling today than when he first made them so many years ago, as we are much further off course now. As President Clark warned, unless we return to our constitutional heritage, our precious American birthright of liberty will be lost. Professor Lewis is convinced that our children will never be taught adequately about our American constitutional history in our public schools because those teachers were never taught it in their own educational experience; he applauds LDS home educators for trying to do a better job of teaching it to the rising generation and is excited to be a part of that effort. He has prepared a series of recorded and written lectures that will be made available for parents to use in teaching their children about constitutional law, and believes that parents will enjoy learning more about this topic themselves as they prepare to help their children study this critical subject.
