Focus Seminar West
May 2018

We will be holding a series of “Hands-On” Workshops for our Focus Seminar. Through active involvement, you’ll learn how to recreate several exciting activities in your own homeschool.

You'll have a chance to learn to:

  • create exciting and educational lapbooks
  • draw and teach drawing
  • write computer code
  • develop STEM activities
  • make math both fun and interactive
  • implement creative writing strategies

This is a day to learn auditorily, visually, and kinesthetically! You will be interacting with other parents and instructors, not just sitting quietly taking notes. As a bonus, you will receive a box with all the materials needed for each class, allowing you to participate and then replicate the experience with your kids at home. Book your spot early to ensure you receive a supply kit to take home. You will not want to miss out!

  • Hear professionals share their expertise
  • Find answers to your struggles with a special needs child
  • Learn ways to accomplish your homeschooling goals while keeping balance in your life
  • Talk with other homeschooling parents in the evenings at our Mentor Mom Chats.
  • Enjoy the youth talent show on Wednesday night
  • Participate in the Family Dance on Thursday
  • Celebrate with other homeschoolers at the Graduation ceremony at the close of the conference on Friday.

The 2017 West Conference can help provide a light to your homeschooling path.

Youth Friendship Seminar West

  • A full day of classes dedicated to building and maintaining relationships
  • Game and snack breaks for a chance to meet the other attendees

Youth Education Conference West
June 2018

You are going to stand out. As LDS homeschoolers, we tend to get noticed wherever we go. But however we stand out, we should never be afraid to stand tall!

Come join with over a hundred other LDS homeschool youth as we:

  • Have classes on developing our talents, learning from our weaknesses and creating a bright future
  • Develop friendships through activities and games
  • "Stand tall" or cheer on others at our Talent Show
  • Dance the night away at our Under The Sea Dance
  • and come support the class of 2017 at our Graduation

We hope you'll have fun growing with us as we give each other the courage to stand a little taller.

Youth & Family Activities West
May 2018

We have fun family activities for all ages. There are games and activities for youth through the day to get your wiggles out between classes. In the evenings moms are invited to unwind in the Mentor Mom Chat Room, or at a yoga session led by certified instructor Jessica Croker. All family members are invited to enjoy the talent show, dances, and even a graduation celebration!
