Beginners' Seminar East
May 17, 2017

You have questions? We have answers! If you're just starting your homeschooling journey, this seminar is for you.

The Beginners' Seminar is perfect for you if you are:

  • completely new to homeschooling
  • in your 1st or 2nd year and wondering what you've gotten yourself into
  • thinking about homeschooling
  • wondering if it would be a good choice for your family

Come and meet homeschool moms who have been where you are—at the beginning.  Our Mentor Moms will discuss topics that concern every new homeschooler: scheduling, socialization, feelings of inadequacy, and many more.  We will finish the day with a panel discussion, so all of your questions will be addressed!

Home Education Conference East:

"Light the Beacon Within"

May 18-19, 2017

Learn how to light the beacon within, and create a light on a hill which will shine through your homeschool and family this year.

The environment, culture, and learning we create within the walls of our homeschools will be a part of our children forever.  We can light the beacon within ourselves and our children so we can stand as a "beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on a hill" (Isaiah 30:17). Our speaker will address a number of timely and relevant topics, including:

  • Making Your Home an MTC
  • Teaching Math, Music, Art and Geography
  • Homeschooling through life changes
  • Fostering leadership

We look forward to learning together how to make our lights shine!

Youth Friendship Seminar East

May 17, 2017

Being a teenager is both wonderful and challenging. Our youth Friendship Seminar will help us focus on being our BEST!

Being a teenager is both wonderful and challenging. This year we have classes to help us be our best. We will have one track of classes that focus on the 7 Habits for Highly Effective Teens. Stephen Covey's famous 7 Habits have changed the world and they can change you, too!
We also have classes to build friendships, resist peer pressure, achieve your goals, and get along with others.
You might want to try something new, too! Learn to dance with the Allens, add some drama to your life with Ryan Clemens, improve your health, prepare for a mission, and improve your math skills are all exciting classes this year.
